Simplified “look & feel” of the MiFID risk tolerance test
We have often received feedback from our professional users that the risk tolerance test was too complex, causing them to spend a lot of time explaining it to their clients. We have therefore re-examined this risk tolerance test and simplified it where possible, without compromising the effectiveness of the test. The result is that only three different scenarios are shown instead of six and the visualisation of these scenarios are clearer. The introduction and control questions have also been simplified. In line with the AFM guidelines, we have also added a question that clarifies whether a client is aware of the fact that they may lose part of their investment. Professional users who prefer the current visualisation of different scenarios can choose to retain this visualisation. The simplified version of the risk tolerance test will be available from 3 October.
